The Ashburnham Hotel has extensively refurbished bedrooms, with about 90% of rooms already updated to a high standard. Family rooms offer more spacious accommodation, and each en suite bathroom includes either a bath or a rainforest shower. Note that all rooms are only accessible by stairs, as there is no lift in the hotel.

Dining

A complimentary hearty Welsh breakfast is included for all guests, served in the restaurant each morning. The Ashburnham Hotel's own restaurant serves a variety of meals, including a popular Sunday carvery with a choice of turkey, beef, or pork and about 10 different vegetables. Special diet menus and packed lunches are available on request.

The hotel overlooks the Ashburnham golf links and sits on the edge of the Millennium coastal paths and cycle tracks. Cefn Sidan Beach and Pembrey Country Park are within a 10-minute walk, and the pretty harbour of Burry Port is a short stroll away. Ashburnham Hotel is also close to the National Botanic Garden of Wales and Kidwelly Castle.

The Ashburnham Hotel is the only hotel in Pembrey that offers exclusive use for wedding events each day, with dedicated event planning support. The picturesque gardens are designed for outdoor events and photography, and the hotel's roots are linked to the Earl of Ashburnham. Friday and Saturday evenings often feature a disco in the hotel, which may cause some noise in rooms above.
